Where We’re Taking You

Martinique Champagne Antigua

Pre-Cruise: Begin your vacation early with a stay in sunny Ft. Lauderdale! Take a tour of the canals, spend a day on a white sand beach, and relax after your flight so you’re ready to go on embarkation day.

February 8: Welcome aboard the Eurodam! This lovely little Holland America vessel is packed with big amenities and we’ll start enjoying them right away. After an Elite Cruises Concierge escorts you onboard and to your cabin you’ll have a chance to unpack and relax before meeting up with the group for our first big night out onboard. We’ll get to know each other over dinner and then hit the town at one of the

February 9-10: We love all the amenities the ship has to offer and with these two days at sea we’ll have a chance to really take advantage of them. Join us for a dip in the hydrotherapy pool at the spa, splurge on a specialty massage, do a wine tasting, take a mixology class, or just relax in a private cabana at The Retreat. These days are all about relaxation before our adventures on land begin.

February 11: Sint Maarten is a unique island split between Dutch and French cultures which means only one thing: the food here is amazing. Take a tour of the island and explore the cafes and patisseries where decadent old world pastries await and make time to visit the many art shops and boutiques in both the Dutch capital Philipsburg and the French capital Marigot. Or take a once in a lifetime excursion on an America’s Cup winning racing yacht where you can learn how to sail a racing ship or just sit back and enjoy a very speedy ride across the surf. Whatever you decide to go on Sint Maarten we know it will be a spectacular day.

February 12: A beach day in Antigua is easy to come by; the island has 365 white sand beaches just waiting for you! If you had enough relaxing on our days at sea however and are ready for some adventure then you’ve come to the right place. Take a safari into the island’s rainforest or splurge on a helicopter ride where you’ll cruise over the island or jet over to the active volcano on neighboring Monserrat.

February 13: The island of Martinique has had many famous visitors and residents (Christopher Columbus, Napoleon’s wife Josephine, and artist Paul Gaugin amongst others) and it’s easy to see the attraction. This French island is steeped in history, is an agricultural marvel, distills some of the best rhum agricole, and has some of the most dramatic views anywhere in the Caribbean. We’re looking forward to exploring everything this island has to offer and ending our visit with an ice cold rum cocktail…will you be trying a ti’ punch with us?

February 14: The volcanic island of Domenica is known for it’s hot springs and we cannot wait to soak in one of the natural mineral pools and let all our aches and pains melt away in the warm water. Or if you’re looking for a truly unique cultural experience visit a Carib village where indigenous peoples showcase their history and traditions that pre-date Columbus’ arrival in the Caribbean. Natural wonders and history are everywhere on Domenica, one of the last places in the Caribbean relatively untouched by tourism.

February 15: There are so many things to see and do on St Kitts that it’s impossible to choose just one! Should we swim with dolphins, ride the coastal railway, visit the Nevis hot springs, go on a snorkel safari, or spend the day just lounging at a beach club?

February 16: If you’re looking for the picture perfect beach St Thomas and St John are the islands for you. There’s a good chance you’ve already seen these beaches on post cards, in commercials, or even on your computer or TV screensaver. Or if you’ve had enough of the beach take time to explore St Thomas’s capital Charlotte Amalie where colorful colonial architecture makes it feel like you’ve stepped back into the past and the shopping is all duty free.

February 17: This day at sea gives us one last chance to enjoy the ship amenities and enjoy a special dining event just for our group.

February 18: Our last stop is at Holland America’s private island, Half Moon Cay. Here you can horseback ride in the surf, take a glass bottom boat tour, meet some stingrays, or spend one more day soaking up some of the wonderful Caribbean sunshine on the white sand beach. Enjoy feeling the sand between your toes one last time before we wake up in Ft. Lauderdale.

February 19: The fun doesn’t have to end when we disembark our ship! Join us for a post-cruise hotel stay in sunny Ft. Lauderdale before heading home and having to take out your winter boots once more.

Elite Cruises Caribbean Ship

Eurodam Amenities

We have carefully selected this voyage onboard Holland America Line’s Eurodam and hope that you will love this ship as much as we have come to over the years. With the smaller size of this ship we can easily dock in ports that newer, larger ships can not come close to allowing our travelers more time to explore the destinations on this voyage. The size of the ship does not impact the quality of the experience travelers receive however and the Eurodam and Holland America are continuously are adding to what is on offer. The latest addition you may have already seen on TV: Eurodam hosted Top Chef season 21 contestants as well as Iron Chef Morimoto to showcase Holland America’s Global Fresh Fish culinary program.
