Where We’re Taking You

January 16: Elite Cruises travel team will arrive at EverTrue to accompany travelers to the airport for a quick flight to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a one night hotel stay before our cruise. At the hotel we’ll enjoy a welcome reception and get to know each other before we head to our ship the next morning.

January 17: It’s time to head to the cruise port! Elite Cruises staff will assist with luggage and tagging all bags for the cruise ship before we head to the port as a group. Once at port we’ll hand over suitcases to Holland America’s porters and Elite Cruises staff members will accompany each family through the port, onto the ship, and directly to staterooms and suites. After unpacking and getting settled it’s time to start enjoying our all-inclusive onboard packages so treat yourself to a delicious lunch and grab a tropical cocktail by the pool! We’ll regroup for dinner and then a night out on the town to explore the many entertainment venues available to us on this cruise.

January 18: We’re kicking this trip off with a stop at Holland America’s private island, Half Moon Cay. After two busy days we can’t think of anything better than lounging on the white sand beaches and playing in the crystal clear water, but for more active travelers who want to jump right in to the fun there is kayaking, snorkeling, horseback riding, and more. Enjoy a Caribbean cookout buffet on the island between activities and in the evening enjoy a port to plate locally sourced luxury dinner in the dining room.

January 19: This day at sea will feature programs and activities exclusively for our travelers as well as enjoying ship amenities. Sleep in and order complimentary room service breakfast to enjoy on your private verandah, treat yourself to a dip in the hydrotherapy pool at the spa, enjoy a wine tasting, or join the Elite Cruises staff for games and activities. This is your vacation and how you spend your time is entirely up to you!

January 20: After a day of relaxing on our ship it’s time to explore the unforgettable island of Grand Turk. Beach bums can reserve private cabanas, curious tourists can enjoy open air tram rides around the island to see the sights, and adventure seekers can take a catamaran ride out to sea in search of North Atlantic Humpback Whales. There’s something for everyone here but after all the days adventures our group will come together at dinner to share all our stories from the day.

January 21: The Dominican Republic is on every traveler’s wish list this year so we had to make sure to dock in Amber Cove, known for their gold sand beaches and historic city of Puerto Plata. Travelers can set off in search of the beach of their dreams, take a tour of the historic city, taste some of the famous chocolate the region is known for, or get up close at a dolphin encounter. And for anyone looking to embrace their inner pirate, this area is also known for having some exceptional rums.

January 22: This day at sea gives everyone another chance to enjoy ship amenities as well as activities with the Elite Cruises staff. This day can also include some special dining events or Holland America’s famous Orange Night party where the cruise line invites all travelers to celebrate Dutch style with special menus, music events, and orange clothing and accessories. Don’t party too hard though because we dock at our final port bright and early the next morning.

January 23: Nassau, Bahamas is the perfect last day with a plethora of activities to do, things to see, and souvenirs to buy. Take a tour of the island or tour of the coastal waters around the island in a glass bottom boat, visit the famous Pearl Island known for their swimming pigs, make your own souvenirs by learning how to roll cigars, or treat yourself to a day of sport fishing. For last minute souvenir hunters explore the colorful shops along Prince George Warf and treat yourself to one last rum punch before we board our ship for our last night together.

January 24: Upon arrival in Fort Lauderdale Elite Cruises staff members will escort families from the ship and accompany them to the airport for return flights home. For any families who wish to extend their vacation please ask us about hotel stays and activities in the area.
